Houdini

I have a request to make. Is there anyone willing to hack Houdini so that we can have more than just 8 threads? I am talking about maybe opening up the engine to have atleast 64 threads or more for those of us that have access to extremely large hardware. I would greatly appreciate it if this could be done and posted. No need to try and moddify the engine code just the number of possible threads. What hardware am i talking about? How about a quad socketed G34 with four AMD Opteron 6174 processors. :)
