| This is the fruit of 3 months endeavor to have a chess engine opening book that will be suitable to engage BrainFish/Cerebellum pair in a fair play of engine vs. engine match in a rating list production environment. The positive results against Cerebellum and Fauzi 2.2 made the official release early. Fishbook Neutral is suited for engine vs. engine match with up to 10 moves depth. Both white and black had 50% chance of winning. The positions had been filtered to include only draws from the PGN collection with 30cp threshold. The opening book consists mainly of the popular primary 4 first moves such as e4, d4, c4 and Nf3 avoiding the less familiar openings that has the least chance of success. Fishbook Neutral depth should be set 5 or lower for fair play. Greater depth will favor the weaker engine as the position is equal and will lead to a higher probability of draw. http://www.mediafire.com/file/ow1nl05mr53n97q/Fishbook+Neutral+161018.7z Fishbook Active is also a neutral book similar to Fishbook Neutral but it is deeper with 15 moves depth. White has at most 51% better chance of winning. This will be useful when a user is bored with the drawish end positions of Fishbook Neutral. In addition to the 4 popular opening moves, 4 more were added such as g3, b3, Nc3 and f4 to have more choices but these are set to zero priority as default. The user has greater option to control the choice of opening moves by changing the settings in the Arena book settings menu such as priority, number of games, winning percentage and others. Fishbook Active could defeat other neutral opening books such as Perfect 2016 by Sedat Canbaz. http://www.mediafire.com/file/69od9c02eqc7y3b/Fishbook+Active+161018.7z Fishbook Dynamic is definitely a BrainFish/Cerebellum neutralizer by design. Its modest goal is just to level the game to 50%-50% making BrainFish behave like Stockfish, but the results were more than that was hoped for. The book is limited to 30 moves depth which is much lesser compared to Cerebellum with probably more than 40 moves depth and Fauzi which has more than 100 moves depth! The Fishbook Dynamic is primarily suited for rating list tournaments against BrainFish/Cerebellum but could be used in book vs. book matches. Aside from Cerebellum and Fauzi 2.2, it also defeated HS-Grandbook by Harry Schnapp, Dan Corbitt's Superbook, Quisinsky Special and Tomcat by Adit Tangsel in earlier tests. http://www.mediafire.com/file/kcr99k8edidwxvt/Fishbook+Dynamic+161018.7z | |
