All i can say is Yikes!!!! and yes there is some losses on time. they appear to be robbobase time losses. where the ned game got down to the pure 5 man pieces and the engine stopped moving. going ot retest without TB's

even with time loses that ivans proved itself as one of the all time greats , vald0 and Leonardovinci
should be truly proud of it and its auto load is best of all engines
i do think we now have one stronger at least in some time controls but great to see my personal favourite engine still being used , now use its big brothers

And yes i would agree that vlad's mod5 engine is one hell of an engine it definately competes with rybka 4. now hopefully they release an engine that is better than this. now that rybka 4 is out. :)

if bases load perfectly its Leonardos tweaked version of Vlad0s code :)

AS suspected this fish will not be battered or fried as easily as many had hoped
It fights the line best when allowed to run with hook, there is a need for more games at longer time controls before this fish becomes supper

Add to this the gain of large pages and the as yet unsolved riddle of piece values in paramiters and the fact it seems to grow with larger engine hash and high end powerfull pc's to realise celebrations are premature

Hopefully the more information from longer time control games will help the REAL Commrades fillet this fish once and for all ...or have it stuffed and mounted along side Fire bugs maker and his fake commrade cronies

5 min blitz , ponder off ,no bases , both engines popcont

Here is my final resules. Running i7 980x. 6thread vs 6 thread, Ponder on, 1gb hash. rybka 3 book but max book depth 12 moves, No EGTB's

Time control 3' +1" 60 games total

Rybka 4 SSE4.2 X64 with 15 wins, 7 losses, 38 draws. +46 elo better than ivanhoe. 56.67% 34/60


Wow maybe Rybka4 is better in normal blitz games??? Much better results than my first test. But i am still kinda baffled at this.

use one of newer ivanhoes

5'-40 moves repeating.....no books ( i tried to set a match with books on ,but the engines only played the B90 variation?!)

You can add to this the results of the match I ran this night
between R4 and IVH 635Ub-PGO (with Tester's TMini10 material values).
Neither Nalimov, nor RobboBases were used.

Results of 300 blitz 1+0 on Dual 2 Core 1.8Ghz:

1 IvanHoe 63Mod5Ub-PGO-x64 +36 +91/=149/-60 55.17% 165.5/300
2 Deep Rybka 4 x64 -36 +60/=149/-91 44.83% 134.5/300

This night I'll repeat the match with both Nalimov and Robbobases switched on.

Mod12c or vlado last one with piece values we sent you would be better test , tick popcont box in mod12c paramiters though
