We have found the problem with the 32 bit compile of Komodo 4 and have made a corrected version, to be called version 4c2 (for second compile, 32 bit only). This version, while still a bit under half the speed of the 64 bit version, should be comparable in true speed to Komodo 3 32 bit, allowing for the roughly 20% reduction you will see in reported nodes per second due to the change in how we count nodes.
Anyone who bought Komodo 4 and would like the corrected 32 bit version should email Don Dailey at the email address shown in his profile. Anyone testing the 32 bit version is encouraged to get the new one and begin your tests from scratch.
