It is only source code , from which one compiles the engine, though we are sure some compilers will allready be compileing , so expect new engines soon

Unfortunately the code has some bugs which prevent it from beeing compiled. Either some files are corrupt or are missing in the source.

its just not as easy as some think ...

99% of the changes involve Robbo* and the rest is the split and code efficiency, and bug fixes. diff of beta999952a and beta999950h produced 5413 lines of changes. That number is a little deceptive.

It's a good idea to only have one release every few months rather than the weekly, not unless there is a show stopping bug.

There are minor issues compiling, a couple misspelled API names, function passed less parameters than it's prototype.

The split gives a speed improvement of roughly 4%.



Correction, the speed gain in my earlier comment is not because of the split rather a feature disabled using preprocessor. My guess is that the split gives a ~1% speed increase.
