i tried both these engines compiled from above codes on friends pc's . both intell and AMD , the new one from new 999950 h source is awfull. the engine is several depthe LESS than other ivanhoes of previose source codes , in middle came play it was struggeling to reach 20 depth whist older ivanhoe was at depth 23 and if the new 3 = 3 bases are used its incredibly slow and doesnt show the "hits ", task manafer shows twice as much memory being used but perfomance even on one friends 8 gig ram was simply
painfull to watch...
maney weeks of hopefull expectations has produced nothing worthy of competing for top engine yet
perhaps for analise the new bases may be very usefll but for game play , less than any use whatsoever for games requireing time controls of up to 30 minutes anyway
