First, Thanks to all testers in the Project, especially to Roparz
after a lot of tests i think this Material values is better than the Default values about 7 ELO
Pawn = 100
Knights = 325
Bishop = 350
Rook = 500
Queen = 950
I will use this values in all my compiles

and this test for T0.5.4.2 too by Roparz
Intel Core i7 X 980 @ 3.33GHz
Threads = 12
Book:.SilverSuite (50 positions)
Time: 1m + 0s

Code:
IvanHoe T0.5.4.2 x64 +49 / =111 / -40 52.25%
Deep Rybka 4 SSE42 x64 +40 / =111 / -49 47.75%

I'm testing it now. It will analyse a position for 3-4 days. So far I had no problems in my games and I'm playing a very strong tournament (using IvanHoes)!

"B" tests only for actual play not analise so we can offer no advice re that

see tests and tournaments for game play test results

Since there's no big difference between the latest engines strength,it's not important which one you use. It matters what computer you have,if you use win x32 or win x64 and how much can you let it analyse.

You woun't get too far when using only the computer. You need to know some chess too realise if the engine is playing a good move or not,too see where he is weak (endings,static positions,etc).

I think correspondence chess today is a lie,everybody is using a computer,ex-world champion Joop van Oosterom's games are played by Jeroen Piket. You have money,you are "the best".
