I hereby wish to inform you that my beloved father,
Harry Schnapp, passed away on Mai 5th 2012 at the age of 77. Many thanks
to those who appreciated and supported him.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]~~~ Seems as it was only a couple of days ago Harry was on Talk Chess , his first posting there for some time due to illness He was a true gentleman terribly treated by the hypocrites of rybka forum and Arena who he did so much for A great book maker , one of the all time greats of computer chess who will be sadly missed We offer / extend our sympathies and condolonces to his family and ask others to do the same

A sad day
Harry Schnappe gave computer chess many years of his life . his books are still the best to use for engine tests, he will be greatly missed
