tested,i will make public the values;so people will be able to have an
improved Houdini WITHOUT BUYING HOUDINI 3

end of the 101 games test

the final result shows a +59 elo points
for the tuned version,and a probability of 95% of being the rersults
between +3 and +122 elo points

here are the values inside Houdini 2.0z which is stronger than Houdini 2.0 c

open the Houdini config tool 1.6 there are several rows: the Houdini config row then below it "default values", "save to EXE" and "exit", then below that are 4 headings "material values" "eval weights 1" "eval weights 2" and "clipboard" - these are the tabs.

So first highlight and right click on this value string :

and click "copy".

Now open the config tool and open the "clipboard" bit as I just described above. Now click the words "load values from clipboard" now at top right click "browse" and go to the Houdini engine EXE (wherever you have that on your PC) - then click "save to EXE file" and thats it - now the EXE is amended so you do create UCI engine using THAT amended EXE and it will have the new values.

i am testing these settings now against stock houdini and so far out of 1248 games k2 is +343/ =560/ -345
1 min plus 1 second round robin using multiple test suites with 790 different test positions. .
