Unfortunately, the initial edition suffered from several problems, which I hope to have fixed now with the greatly improved second edition.
new:
- max. length 30 full moves as intended, not (by mistake) only 30 plies
- no ultrashort wins (most of which were losses on time and many game had no moves at all)
- no games containing text parts "forfeit" or "zeit"
- alternative ZIP download (bigger)
The Database has now 44.569 games and the opening tree is based upon all of them. This gives ~1.6 million positions.

These are correspondence chess games made into 2 ctg books , and the second one is a very strong book
