| Hiii all! It's a pleasure to annunciate a new tournament, the I STS tournament! What's STS Tournament?STS tournament is one weekly (or monthly, depending on the demand) tournament. The main differeces of the other's is that it uses the STS! What's STS?STS is the strategic test suite by Swaminathan and Dann Corbit. Is the only suite that scores some critical aspects of the engine evaluation. It's a different way to test engines! Now there are 10 ideas, 100 positions per idea: 1. Undermining 2. Open Files and Diagonals 3. Knight Outposts 4. Square Vacancy 5. Bishop vs Knight 6. Re-Capturing 7. Offer of Simplification 8.Advancement of f/g/h pawns 9. Advancement of a/b/c Pawns 10. Simplification Which engines will be tested?The engines will be chosen by you. You can propose your favourite one's (please, strong ones  ) Specifications: Computer - Intel i5-750 (SSE 4.2) / Vista x64 / 8 GB of RAM Time per Position - 10 seconds Number of postions - 1000 Engines per Tournament - Does not matter :D And to conclude... Please Post Your Favourite Engine!

| U hv included all but the fact is i use 32 bit and hope after 64 bit u will also test it 32 bit version of various engine .....
thanks for testing it will be much help to determine which one top the list.. |

| The tournament has begun! Houdini was eliminated because it had problems during the first test, not good relations with Arena  | |

| Ok, there have been some problems during the tournament and I had to cancel it :S -Vlad0's compile didn't work -There was a blackout (Google Transation) during the tourney and it could not finish I don't know what to do, too many compiles don't work... I think I will test them individually when I finish my exams (next week) and post the results like a rating list. Sorry! | |
