It is incredible difference compared to what I have just found. Yet for me, I don't even get Fire_131 to stay alive, it is always planting.( crashing) I shall try to test also Houdini in the next time.

Can you please post actual game reults so we can see whic engine wins draws or loses vrs each other please as this shows us nothing we can gain any knowledge from re induvidale engines performances

Not sure youve set best settings though, are you useing HT ? ponder OFF or ON Question

Ivanv55m is a pathetic engine on AMD , its predesseor is without doubt the strongest AMD friendly one ,as Peter Pants on fire can be bothered to make his see42s work on AMD

** "B" plays 10 min no bases test between DR4SEE42 and IvanHoe9.57b now and Ivans is 3 wins no loses so far :affraid:

On an 8 core server if you use more than 4 threads per engine. Then you need to be sure not to have ponder turned on or the engines will fight over cpu bandwidth. He is not using ponder. and he is leaving out one cpu so he can still use the pc for other things like surfing the web. :)

He is running dual X5355's. This is the precursor to the I7 XEON's They do not have HT. 4 threads per cpu.
