The huge pages demand a subtle knowledge of the TLB configuration. The now standard for Intel and AMD in TLB are 4K (small), then 2M/4M and 1G. The Linux option is hugetlbfs (LGPL) and they do not swap. In FreeBSD it can see it automatically to use 4M pages, but not malloc in Linux with /proc/buddyinfo for my regards. AMD Barcelona has 48 TLB entries for L1, so the effect is little from 192M until 1G as a slab. The automatic use of hugetlbfs for malloc is now possible in dynamic linking to redirect __morecore, so we have few dice in doing it ourself. The direct advantage is in not all malloc calls are huge. IvanHoe has few memory calls to boot, but to specify Zobrist hash at 1GB is specific. You can try it with the package http://libhugetlbfs.ozlabs.org

RobboTotalBase for SMP is only in building and that has never worked in Windows.

I haven't seen MultiPV as broken.

There are no decent improvements in 999955m unless RobboBuild so you can ignore it.

The ZOG MP testing does not find itself yet ready.
