Eman 7.21release notes
This is a hotfix release for 7.20
Changes
Fixed a problem with the previous version which caused the engine to lose on time if the game being played has zero move increment (example, 1+0, 3+0, 5+0). I have also added a few safeguards to prevent suspicious timings being sent to the engine from some GUI's (for example, while the engine is playing from the book, or after a crash and the user resumes the game). Due to those safeguards, Eman will be able to detect Move Overhead of up to 2.5 seconds and increments up to 90 seconds. If Eman is unable to detect the increment and move overhead, then the default move overhead will be used and the given increment by the GUI will be used as is also.
More aggressive Slow Mover management to allow increasing the Slow Mover value to 3 times the configured value.
Merged all recent Stockfish updates from the development branch.
DISCLAIMER: The Automatic Time Management is highly experimental, and at best it will be able to find approximate values to the Move Overhead and move increment. If you believe you know the proper overhead value to use, or you are facing some timeout losses then you are highly advised to turn off the Automatic Time Management option in engine parameters.
It is also advised to turn off Automatic Time Management when the engine is playing offline (i.e., when the move overhead is expected to be close to zero)
